Task cards were kept on paper, digitised afterwards and laboriously compiled for audits. This tied up skilled staff and delayed release to service.

Digitalisation had to start with the process, not the tool. Regulatory requirements could be modelled as process rules – instead of additional control loops.

In maintenance, every minute counts – and so does every signature. Paper-based documentation was safe, but slow and error-prone when transferred.

Instead of digitising the existing paper process one to one, the workflow was rethought from the outcome: who needs which information, when and in what form – and how can that be modelled compliantly?

Result

Technicians document directly at the aircraft, releases are digital and traceable. Audits are served straight from the system – no searching required.
